Why Do We Need a Christian Sportsman Cha
11/01/2008 01:03 PM - In this crazy fast paced world, we increasingly are governed by human doings instead of spiritual doings. A Sportsman, who is out in the outdoors, knows without a doubt, that there has to be a higher being tht created all in this world. He/she sees the wonders each time they go outdoors. I believe that most outdoors people believe in God and having a CSF chapter is putting together people with a love for the outdoors, most of all a love of God and they want others to know our Lord and Savior Jesus. Each person is searching for the reason that God put them here I believe. Recently I received a document from Richard Jordan and Chris Marley, who have had such a positive influence in my life. It is called the Journey.Living in the present. Wow! What a great study. The below is a quote take from this document. We started a CSF chapter many years ago now, Living Water CSF. It has been a blessing to so many in our community with the events we have held, the Bibles given out, somewhere close to 1,000 now. The close friends I have because of this chapter involvement is so many and I am so blessed. Now, the memories of LWCSF are abundant because it has been so active. Now, we, our chapter, does not want to live in the past. So, our chapter plans 2009 and the families of LWCSF get excited over what they are doing to witness for Jesus. We draw strength from one another in our chapter. Each member and his/her family are now very close friends and fellow Christians. Others see this and want to join the chapter...more
